13500 SW is an existing home in Southwest Ranches that sits on a 2.13 acres lot. The existing home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with a triple split floor plan. There is a current porch and a wood deck with a garden and a pool. The house is in the prestigious neighborhood of Sunshine Ranches, where developers and home owners are now either demolishing their homes and building new ones, or remodeling their current homes. For this same reason, and because of their growing family, our clients wanted to add square footage to the lot in form of additions and remodel the existing structure.
The main reason for the additions is to incorporate a guest house for guests to visit them from their respective countries of origin, and to create a detached “home” for our client’s mother who currently lives in an apartment and will be living with them in this beautiful lot. The goal of this remodeling is to update the house to have a modern look but also to keep the budget low in order for the clients to not pay exorbitant taxes.
