Work Done: Architecture Design
The exterior design of the home presents a modern aesthetic with clean lines and a striking contrast between the two volumes. The double-height public spaces and taller private areas create a visually dynamic structure that stands out in the urban setting. Inside, the layout prioritizes practicality and comfort, ensuring a luxurious living experience that meets the needs of contemporary urban dwellers.
1. Dual Volume Design:
The architectural concept for this Miami residence is based on the innovative design of two distinct volumes. The left volume houses public spaces such as the living room and dining area, featuring double-height ceilings to create a sense of openness and grandeur. The right volume is taller and contains private spaces, including all bedrooms and bathrooms, ensuring privacy and functionality.
2. Maximizing Views and Outdoor Connection:
A key feature of this home is its beautiful view of the Brickell skyline from the backyard. To take full advantage of this scenic backdrop, the house is designed with multiple balconies at the rear, providing ample outdoor spaces for relaxation and enjoyment. These balconies enhance the connection between the indoor and outdoor environments, allowing residents to fully appreciate the stunning urban landscape.
3. Efficient Use of a Smaller Lot:
Despite being situated on a smaller lot in the city of Miami, the design efficiently utilizes the available space. The dual volume approach not only differentiates between public and private areas but also maximizes the functionality of each section of the home. The strategic layout ensures that every square foot is utilized effectively, providing both spacious communal areas and intimate private spaces.
